 CAREY P. HENDRICKSON Carey P. Hendrickson is a 17-year veteran of Belo's financial organization, serving as senior vice president/Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Company's Management Committee since March 2010. Previously, he was Belo's senior vice president/Chief Accounting Officer from November 2007 until March 2010. Before that, he served as vice president/Human Resources, a position he assumed in May 2007. He also served as vice president/Investor Relations and Corporate Communications from November 2004 until May 2007. Hendrickson was vice president/Investor Relations from January 2000 through October 2004. He began his career with Belo in 1992 as manager of financial planning, and then served as assistant controller from 1995 until 1997, when he was named vice president of strategic and financial planning. Hendrickson is an honors graduate of both Baylor University and the University of Texas at Arlington. He received a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Baylor in 1985 and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from UTA in 1995. Hendrickson began his career with KPMG and was the director of financial planning for Republic Financial Services before joining Belo. He is a member of the Media Financial Managers Association and currently serves on the Association's national board of directors. He also serves on the Scholarship Committee of the Spina Bifida Association of North Texas. |
